Parker Day began April 18, 1969, the day we went to the Spring Fling at Disneyland and decided to "go steady." David gave me his big old gold Villa Park High School ring. That was our junior year of high school. We were sixteen. Now there are six children and 13+ grandchildren who owe their existence to that night.

Yeah for Parker Day! Thank you for deciding to "go steady"... I definitely like what I got out of it! 1 great hubby and 4 great kids!
Lauren, you had to be a wanted woman... you are so gorgeous in those pictures! David, you are one lucky guy! (Lauren is lucky too!)
Love you both!
Thanks for the great post--many blessings from those handsome 16-year-olds.
yay! aww, those pictures are so cute. :)
These photographs made me laugh out loud... I have similar ones. Congratulations on a very happy life together and a job well done!
seriously so cute - Leslie told me about Parker day a couple years ago - I love the idea!
Why didn't you let us know that April 18th was a national holiday? You two haven't changed ONE BIT!...just like Randy and me.
