Falkland Islands (UK) (Malvinas Islands)

This little Gentoo Penguin took a nibble out of Bama’s leg and so she told him to be nice.

Pa acting like a penguin.

The penguin colony at Sparrow Cove, Falkland Islands.

This new little penguin is moulting so he can take to the sea in the winter.

What cute little birds. Not as cute as the big one in the picture. It looks very cold!

Ethan - there is no snow where these penguins nest for summer. When winter comes they take to the sea and stay in the water all winter, returning to the warmth(50 degrees) of the islands. They find snow in the winter nearer to Antarctica.
