The Politics of the Presidency!

For those who will be in Southern California on August 13th, please join Lauren and me as we host a family BBQ for Mitt! Click on the picture below to expand for readability.…Now to the politics of the Presidency and why we are confident in Mitt’s election as our next President. Some tidbits to ponder!

Did you know that Mitt is currently leading the polls in Iowa, New Hampshire, Michigan, California and Nevada?

Average of Polls:

Iowa – WMR 24.3%, FT 16.0%, RG 15.7%, JM 9.7%

NH – WMR 27.0%, RG 18.8%, JM 17.4%, FT 11.0%

MI – WMR 24.0%, JM 22%, RG 19.0%, FT 8.0%

CA – WMR 32.3%, RG 14.7%, JM 5.4% , FT 4.9%

NV – WMR 21.5%, FT 20.5%, RG 19.0%, JM 12.0%

Did you know that no Republican has ever won the nomination for President without winning Iowa and New Hampshire, both states where Mitt leads with a significant margin, and one state in which Rudy, John and Fred have deemed irrelevant?

Did you know that John Kerry never polled higher than 13% nationally, until after the Iowa Caucus and New Hampshire Primary, and that Clinton and Carter didn’t poll higher than 6% nationally? Do national polls at this point really matter? Not Really! Even so, Mitt's national polls have been rising steadily while Giuliani and McCain have been declining steadily.

Did you know that among Republican and Democratic insiders that Mitt Romney is expected to be the Republican Nominee, as reflected in polls in the past 60 days?

Did you know that Mitt Romney is the only declared Republican Candidate whose poll numbers in South Carolina and Florida are rising and that all others are in decline, notwithstanding Fred Thompson’s yet-to-be announced campaign? Mitt is up 5% and 3% in South Carolina and Florida, respectively, while Rudy Giuliani and John McCain are down 13% and 10% in South Carolina and 4% and 3% in Florida, respectively.

67% of all Republican Delegates to the Republican Convention will be committed by February 6th, giving greater reliance upon early Primary States. The momentum from early Primary States will significantly influence the Super Primary dates of February 5 and 6.

Did you know that Mitt Romney continues to lead in the money primary, having raised more money from a larger donor base (82,000) than any other leading Republican candidate?

Join with us and stand with us as we strive to make a difference. We have chosen to act rather than be acted upon. We invite you to join the National Outreach Effort by becoming a part of Mitt Romney's Outreach Program.

That is going to be fun. Andrew and Ethan would love to meet Mitt, but I guess they will have to wait until Mitt comes here on 8/24.
